Frequently Asked Questions

When should I get an ultrasound?

If you recently took a pregnancy test and saw that the results were positive, you may want to have an ultrasound. An ultrasound procedure can tell you some important information about your pregnancy. It can also help you in the decision-making process of your pregnancy. An ultrasound will tell you how far along you are in your pregnancy, whether there is a fetal heartbeat present and where the pregnancy is developing. All this information is crucial to know to help determine the viability of your pregnancy. Need more info? (link to US)

How do I know if I am pregnant?

Some women do not notice the early signs of pregnancy. Other women will mistake them for something else. By educating yourself, you make yourself capable of detecting your pregnancy at its earliest stages. Here is a list of a few typical early pregnancy symptoms:

  • a missed period
  • excessive fatigue
  • uncommon food aversions or cravings
  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • tender breasts
  • unusual mood swings
  • backaches

If you notice one or more of these symptoms after having unprotected sex or some sort of birth control mishap, you could be pregnant. We encourage you to visit our clinic and take a free pregnancy test.
