It may seem impossible to think of carrying your pregnancy to term right now. That is understandable since it was not what you planned or expected. Concerns like lack of finances, interference with future plans, relationship challenges, and lack of support from others in your life often feel like overwhelming obstacles.
If you should choose to carry to term and parent, we’re here to help you walk through those challenges. We have resources to assist you, and can offer community referrals for housing, healthcare, and other needs. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING PARENTING, YOU PROBABLY HAVE A LOT OF QUESTIONS.
The Spero Center provides support and resources so that you can confidently begin to prepare. We’re here to help you and your family navigate successfully through this next part of your life journey.
- Assistance applying for Medicaid or CHIP coverage
- Educational classes taught by an RN on pregnancy, delivery, and infant care. Baby items (diapers, wipes, clothing, car seats, and strollers) are available with class attendance.
- Prenatal vitamins
- Community referrals for assistance with financial, childcare, medical, and other needs
- Parenting classes for the first 24 months after birth to empower you as a parent and connect you with other new parents in the community
