• An ultrasound is a vital step for confirming a pregnancy. While a pregnancy test can be a good indicator of a pregnancy, only an ultrasound can show you if there is a developing pregnancy in your uterus.  Pregnancies that develop outside of the uterus can be dangerous and are called ectopic pregnancies.  An ultrasound will confirm the location of the pregnancy in your body.
• Confirm just how far along you are (gestational age).
• Measure fetal heartbeat.
• Ultrasounds are safe and are performed by our licensed medical staff. The results of your ultrasound are kept private, and we will discuss our findings with you immediately.
